I don’t know if I agree with his map. I remember using hoagie well inside the NE red part of PA growing up. Eh, that was a long time ago. “Can I get an Italian hoagie, no tomatoes?” Yeah, seems right. Grinder doesn’t work, I think torpedo would get you shot and “Italian sub” kinda works.
Yeah, NEPA was hoagie. State College was subs. Once you got away from that I-81 / Blue Route corridor things got weird. But it was always soda until you got out towards Dubois.
Subs in Boston with grinder sometimes used if it's heated. For some weird reason every pizza/sub place I go to is Greek owned. (Duxbury Pizza at home, Brookside up in Loudon and Starvos in Daytona.)
Man I know Beeb threads tend to drift but ya'll have officially fucked a perfectly good offseason moto thread with all this dumbass sammich talk. JFC this is worse than the dumbass lacrosse thread infiltrations.
started off welding and fabricating when I was 15-16. Over time it’s transitioned into more CAD design, and CNC programming, and implementation. Basically I handle projects from the cradle to the grave. Someone comes to me with a problem. I design a solution, in CAD, present it.. Then after approval I get started programming CNC mills, lathes, lasers, tube benders, and sheet metal brake press.. Then I weld, assemble, run wiring, plumbing for pneumatics/hydraulics etc.. Make sure it checks the boxes with OSHA, then run some parts off it, hand it to the Operations team, and move onto the next thing. I kinda created my own niche job where I work, and it has me job locked at this point. I can’t find anything remotely close to what I do anywhere else, (other than my own business). I’ve been looking for the last year. I’ve got 12 years at my employer and I have had 4 different managers in the last 18 months. It’s getting frustrating. Lol I don’t have any sort of college degree.. I just have a portfolio FULL of successful projects. However, that doesn’t seem to be good enough.
In an attempt to get things somewhat back on track did you know Joey Vento's (Geno's Steaks who also has hoagies on the menu) son raced motorcycles back around 2001. Decently quick club racer.
And in other news, just talked to a couple peoples that said a team announcement on the way that should "surprise some folks". Now back to yallz sammich thread.
Jake Lewis and Sam Lochoff on SSTK machinery prepped by Attack and funded by some rich hoagie/sub/gyro/hero business tycoon?
You want to come play with lasers & robots? I'm looking for someone to operate large robotic welders. We 3D print Ti64. The only real difference between welding & printing is instead of joining material together, we stack weld beads next to and on top of each other to build a structure. We're developing the technology for primary aerostructures. Feel free to DM me if you have questions. https://careers.gknaerospace.com/jo...ecialist-AM-Process-Development-TX/895666801/
Steve Vento? I raced against him when we both had Aprilla RS250 cup bikes. That was my first season racing, I had no idea what I was doing. Had fun chasing each other at the old Moroso track and I believe I have a video of it somewhere. Full size camcorder zip tied under the tail section.
MG55 and Owen Williams riding in Supersport this year. Shit, this season might be fun to watch again after last years Ducati snoozer.
sounds like Andy Dibrino is entering SS or Twins in addition to Hooligans, he ruled out a return to stock 1000. Announcement coming soon per his interview with trackDaz
