Doing it over a difference of opinion will not get you banned, but the manner in which you choose to do it might. Insulting the moderators is usually not a good idea. Insulting Evelyne Clarke is always a bad idea. Classifieds and shameless promotion: we have a classifieds site for you to sell your stuff. Use it. Selling your wares in the General forum will not be tolerated. If you want to promote your product, buy a banner ad. Politics and religion: discussions of those topics will not be tolerated in the General forum. The moderators might let a funny joke slide on occasion. Try to use some common sense. If you can't, just don't take a chance. If it involves government, it's probably not worth trying unless it's directly related to motorcycling. Arguing that your political affiliation or your God is better than others will earn you a vacation with absolute certainty. Keep those discussions for the forum dedicated to them (the Dungeon) when it's open. When it's closed, just take it elsewhere. Photographs and copyrighted material: do not post it without authorization from the owner/publisher. Just post a link to the page where it is hosted. Nudity: if your girlfriend doesn't walk around the paddock naked, don't post naked pictures here. Again, we ask that you use some common sense. Sexy is OK, porn is not. When in doubt, just don't post it. There are enough websites available to find porn. This will not be one of them. Post whores: you might get banned on occasion for your own good. Starting five new threads everyday is a good way to land in the post whore category. It gets tiresome, and the moderators don't like to be tired. Videos: starting a new thread every time you see a funny video on YouTube will probably earn you a vacation. The moderators get tired of having to check out everything to make sure it's appropriate. So, be smart, stick to racing and motorcycle videos and you won't have to worry about getting annoying, or banned.
