I wonder how many kmh is gained with the different aero front of the WSBK Yamaha? Perhaps Attack can obtain one overnight. Won’t make a huge difference in lap time, but basically free benefit. Seems like a solid start to the weekend for Jake.

 

Not sure about the aero, but its pretty surprising the Attack bike is down 10-12 KPH. I feel pretty confident its not because Jake got a bad drive.

Top end might be lacking. 5th slowest on the FP1 chart. and around 7.5mph down to the top 10.

 

Looks like Jake needs motor and some more pirelli time.

 

I think it is a reasonable showing for Jake and Attack. Haslam is a good marker I think. We know where Haslam has been speed wise in the World Championship and in the British National. The kawi bike he is on is probably close to the spec/level of the Attack (and maybe team as well from a WSBK standpoint). At at the moment closing out FP2 they are running the same pace.

Yep, looked like short test runs. Or Uh-Oh runs. Two laps out then right back in. But most of the time sitting.

 

They will get it sorted out...not quite sure i understand superpole qualifications...does he need to qualify for that?

 

Not a productive session for Jake. Hard to learn the track and tires when only doing 7-8 laps at pace.

Haslam hasn't been much of a podium threat in BSB this year. And it's been a long time since he was one in WSBK.

 

I kinda like this situation for GG...he is free to roam around the track and bump into whoever he likes

Ever got involved with a chick who was in a committed relationship that she eventually left to "commit" to you? That doesn't inspire confidence.

 

GG’s best interest is served by just going fast.
