As much as @motion loves Rossi is how I feel about Kevin. He was always who I cheered for back in the 500 class.

We met him for the first time at Indy 2010 when Tyler ran the Moriwaki race. 3-4 kids were selected to ride the Moriwaki’s on the streets of Indy, then took pictures in a plaza. and the news station interviewed them. Garret Gerloff, Jake Lewis, Tyler and I think Ben Young were the lucky boys selected.

It was super cool and when I met Kevin I teared up talking with him.

 

Kevin is the real GOAT.

I was at the Suzuki trailer in the VMD spectator area between my practice rounds. They had Ben Spies championship bike and Mat Mladins as well.. So I'm sitting there checking them out.. KS34 just randomly appears like 3 feet away from me. Literally just staring at the same bikes. I didn't talk to him though, even though I'm a big fan.. I always get nervous and feel like I'm bothering people like that. I should have had him sign my A-Stars Kevin Schwantz boots LMAO... He had on a fresh pair for the parade laps, I was jealous. lol

 

My favorite memory that will forever be etched in my brain.

WERA GNF racing endurance at Road Atlanta many moons ago. Schwantz was riding for Vesrah on a already loaded team. I'm out there doing the best I could on a track I never rode. Just when I thought had hit my limit here comes Schwantz. Passed me going into a corner one one wheel (the front), excited the corner on one wheel (the rear)---Then completely moves his body over turning around and stares at me as he disappears down the hill.

I'm thinking, "Sorry I was in your way Mr. Schwantz, hope I wasn't in your way".
