Went to a wedding in Rawdon north of Montreal and at first they thought we were from Ontario but when they figured out we were Yanks we were treated like gold.
Just heard back from him that it is still available. I will ask about English, and get a phone number
Rural QC they truly don’t speak English. Like, not a fucking word. Montreal, QC, trois revieres etc it’ll be hit and miss South Montreal like Dorval you hear English spoken walking down the street.
Well kneedragger and I actually live here (and in this century) and we've never seen that shit anywhere.
canadian here (way east of Quebec though), but i am of no use to you in this regard...but hope my countrymen do you right lol.
If ya need someone to speak with them I can, go up there? Unless it’s downtown Montreal or skiing / snowmobile season f that noise.
Now that would be a place to visit. When I was early in my career I used to fly into Montreal every other Thursday to go to GM, not a great place for a 20 something with a very loose corporate credit card (times sure are different now). Montreal is one of my top 5 favorite cities in the world and I used to travel A LOT.
Things have change in quite sometime.... Shit load of red cones everywhere (construction) roads being taken over by bicycle and pedestrian paths. Less car parking available. It's a bit of mess for sometime now.
Not one of those things ever concerned me on any of the trips I've taken to Montreal . Really sucks about the bar b barn though. I loved that place. always a good base for a night out on the town.
