Hmmm....who are you? We're neighbors. Question, a bit off topic...what about the 'break-in' period for the bike? Can't necessarily take this thing straight to the track with 0 miles? I ask because i'm breaking in an '18 RSV4 Factory....Manual says not to exceed 7000 rpms for 621 miles, then not to exceed 8500 rpms until 1243 miles.....Also can't 'lug' the motor which means to keep it up above 4000 rpms. So i have a 4-7k rpm range. A real PITA to ride. I have about 250 miles on it now.
Totally up to the new owner. I can break it in on my dyno like we do all our race bikes or they can break it in as they see fit. We generally have less than 30 miles on a race motor when it hits the track. Your manual probably tells you to shift into 6th at 45 mph too.
Any chance you still have the street stuff? (bodywork, mirrors, seats, fairing stay, etc) I only ask because I do trackday instruction (2-ups, lead-follow) Spare wheels are same RED color?
lol. Not quite, but close. Looks like the Suzuki break-in procedure is very similar to the Aprilias. GLWS
Been proven bikes make more power when ripped on right away. I never followed that break in garbage. The engines are ran from the factory numerous times. 0000 doesn't mean motor has never been fired. They are built to run just fine right away. To each their own.
Not to thread highjack but I’ve had Aprilias for over 10 years to include my current RSV4 1100 Factory. My dealer, the largest volume Ape shop in the US has said ride them as you would be every time you swing a leg over with 0 warranty claim issues. Suzuki is the same way and this bike appears to have the right bones for a great ride. Good luck to the seller, that’s a decent deal.
Glad, We've covered how everyone feels about breaking in a motor. I was super curious when posting this for sale.
Let the Goat put some dyno miles on it. It will be worth another 5K for sure then!!! Nice set up and a great price.
How do I get ahold of you to possibly get this bike purchased? I didn’t see any means of contact in the description.
