If you can find him. Mike Velasco built me two YZF750 and a 840. He bought all the Yamaha kit parts left over in with Yamaha Of Canada. He had box after boxes. He use to work out of Brothers Honda in Bremerton, Wa. Maybe use Facebook ?

Is there anything in particular you are looking for? Or any and all parts.

It was likely his own bike with some of the kit parts he came up with after we were finished in '88. I still have all of our frames here, but made the mistake of 'loaning' some parts to Jim and Dave Zupan, that were never returned to me...

They built the Human Race team's endurance bikes in the late 80s. At the time I think they lived in Cheese land.
Andy Fenwick rode the thing and he may know how to find Dave. He's at Metro motorsports in Neehah, Cheeseland

I found a source for kit parts in the U.K. They are better than original reproduction.

I meant Jim Tribou, rip, and Dave Zupan, for the bike he built for Kurt Hall's 1989 Daytona 200. Rich Doan, who went on to become Yoshimura's crew manager, under Don Sakakura's leadership., was Zup's right hand man. He was a fantastic understudy, to a quirky but devoted team organizer.

    What is an 'original reproduction?'

If you are looking for anything specific let me know. Right now will trade YEC parts for a minty YZF750 rear swingarm.

I would say original reproduction would be identical to factory while some reproduction parts are better design and quality
