He hasn’t sent me one yet if his actual watch, only links to what that model looks like. I’ll ask him tomorrow.

Was in Orlando over the weekend and stopped by the Millenia Mall to see how the other half lives.

Was nice to try this beauty on, though..........I will admit, it's a beautiful piece (the ceramic really pops a lot more in person), but I still prefer the look/feel of my more traditional moonwatch. At 44.25mm this wears just a little too big for my rather slender wrist.....

Yea, I don’t know what they used to go for, but I think list is around 10k, but you can’t find new ones for that.

    List is $10-11K
Current market is about $17 - $20K for stainless model.

Good lord, I looked at some asking prices for mine. Not a good move.

I wandered into the Rolex AD in Orlando as well yesterday, and it was literally an empty store. NOTHING in the displays.

So, is this the worst time in history to be a new Rolex customer?

Seems as if unless you are willing to pay significant premiums over MSRP, are Eskimo-brothers with your AD and have spent $100K+ with them in the past, the chances of you getting anything they make is essentially zero.

yeah. the "regular" versions of yours are nutty right now, but as i remember it yours, is a full-on collectors rarity. and that market is a whole 'nother level.

1680, yes on red, Mk 1 dial. Non original band, no box or anchor/tag currently (pretty sure their still buried in stepmoms house somewhere) but I do have the original receipt and passport for it.

I've seen some going for double that or more with the paperwork I've got.

What's that Explorer with the cool Orange hands worth ballpark ?

I'd love one of those but doubt it is in my wheelhouse.

Yea he looked at both and didn’t like the Jubilee as much. They had discontinued this watch with the band he got and only offered the jubilee. Then in the past month or so, they started offering that band again, but the new one has a different movement that has a longer power reserve, but he said he didn’t care about the reserve?
