OK, so we had a pretty good year last year, despite the abbreviated season, the phreak busting himself out of the season via crashing and hubris, and a remarkable and surprising Champion aboard a make of bike no one saw at the top (even though it is good). Twenty-three players was a high water mark here, and made for a good group. A few folks fell off the table early, but with the race round game always in play, there is no reason to not stay playing hard. 2021 starts off at the end of March, so time to get planning. Thanks to jksoft, we have an outstanding and well-tested platform, so that end of the game is set. What we need to decide is the rules and buy-in specs. Last year it was: $60 buy-in A third of the pot goes to evenly distributed payouts for the race round winner (ties are split) Picks for a round not made by cutoff time revert to previous weeks picks Championship payout was 80/15/5% for first, second, third. Open to ideas and suggestions.
I'm in on Page 1 =) and in this Back-to-Back WC (WERA Champ) i'm for $75 buy-in if we get the same # of players, if not then $60 is fine if we get more players.
PM me your email, mate (this applies to any new players). Given your handle, can we expect some brash and cocksure repartee? If so, bring it.
I’m out this year. I had fun doing it, but I’d rather just watch the races then think about how bad I’m losing in fantasy.
I’m the complete opposite...having $ on the line makes watching all the more exciting. I cannot wait for the season to begin! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The game makes the races and series more fun for me. It's not the money; it's the damn fools I'm playing against. Speaking of which, that goddamn oversized birdish-creature keeps kicking my ass. This will not stand!
Yeaaaa, boiiiiii! The wife and I are both in again. I support the $75 buy-in. I like all of the other bullet-points covered. CAN'T WAIT. Man, I miss racing.
Betting on the races makes them more exciting for me. Once I finally learned to bet with my head and not my heart. Sorry ol yeller.
Two votes for a bump in buy-in to $75. I am "ok" with it, contingent on it not driving folks out of the game. Bump.
