Looks like a FZR frame with a big single and a RGV tail. You know, a mess.

I think that's a 250 Gamma frame. More of an extruded beam frame than deltabox. formed/welded sheet.

I agree, RGV250 with air cooled XR600 motor?

That bike came from the Charlie Mavros auction.

I had no freaking idea what I was looking at but it looks like solid garage art

It definitely needs some love. Looks like both of the clipons are cracked and something funky might be going on with the suspension linkage, but at a minimum this could be the base for a very nice single cylinder track weapon. I'd buy it and if the XR motor runs, I'd sort out the chassis bits and ride it for the year. Then I'd put in a KTM 690 motor and give those Kramers a run for their money...... Now I'm trying to figure out how to make this happen!

Seems a little disingenuous to call it a barn find when the seller certainly must know where it came from. The Mavros sale hasn't been that long ago.

Who knows. Price is close to right anyways. Would be a fun build for ahrma singles and tons of wera classes

So, it was bought at the Mavros auction for $600 and sold on e-bay for $1500. I think $1500 for that bike is a reasonable deal, since it is pretty cool. I hope it gets fixed up and raced. Did somebody on here get it?

I like how someone shervined the frame for some plumbing for the catch can.
