Got a phone call today asking me to verify my ssn. Apparently my information was used to rent a car that was found abandoned with blood, drugs and evidence linking me to money laundering and international espionage. I was informed by DEA agent "Brian Johnson" who oddly enough, had an extremely thick Indian (red dot) accent, that a federal warrant has been issued for my arrest but if was willing to cooperate with the authorities I could avoid jail time and be provided with a brand new ssn. Guess I'm a fugitive now.... cause i was extremely uncooperative.
Get the new SSN up front and run up an obscene amount of debt. When opportunity knocks, answer the door.
I like to answer those calls. I lead them on and on and then ask if them if this is what they want to be doing with their lives. Most hang up. Some are interesting discussions.
