The grammar police are here to give you a ticket for use of the incorrect homonym. If you did mean "site" my bad. This is the WERA beeb.
Except right now they get the best of both worlds... destroying stk1000 and finishing just off the podium in superbike and taking home cake in both races...
If I'm not mistaking there has been rumors about that bike not being fully legal for a while now, so maybe that will put an end to that.
Then so be it. More entries. That said, I'm also not a fan of the incentives provided to run both, though I do understand it. In an ideal world, superbike would be big enough to not need the grid filler but I'm aware the state of roadracing is not all sunshine and rainbows and that's not exactly an easy thing to do. I also think for most of the guys in which their stock1000 eligibility could be considered questionable, they' rather be at the front of the superbike field. I'm willing to bet if you offered any of them a ride in stock1000 right now, they would decline. I'm sure PJ would rather be on a factory machine in superbike. But the team that offered me a ride feels stock1000 is their best option so that's where he is.
They changed the spec tire mid-year to something that suited the Yamaha and a different style of riding. Thats a big part of what happened.
You still can’t argue that Toni didn’t bring a new element to the table and forced everyone to up their game.
