....as if we all didn't already know this poor autistic child was being fed all this idiocy that spews from her mouth. https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/01/14/greta-thunbergs-dad-writes-her-facebook-posts/
I'm watching a 60-Minute-type investigative piece right now, first thing I have ever bothered watching/rating about her beyond 30-second clips on the news. They found the guy who came up with the idea of the school strike, a former engineer named Bo Thoren who was "awakened" after watching a French documentary by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. They are also talking to the other people who put their network behind her to make her celebrity. Interesting insight into how they built up this phenomenon out of nothing. All of that might have been covered in here before but I haven't been reading this thread in any kind of detail. If I had to bet, I'd say there's probably very little information and mostly insults in here anyway.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I thought I remember reading somewhere that she was autistic? Which would explain some of the social oddities I've picked up on with her. And if that's the case, based on what little I know of autism, that would likely make her a bit more susceptible to manipulation than a normal teenage girl. So shouldn't the outrage be aimed at the adults in her life?
Asperger is now considered as a milder autism spectrum disorder. I would guess she has Asperger syndrome. Parent and extended family, from Wiki... "She is also related to Svante Arrhenius, the Nobel-winning chemist who first estimated the greenhouse effect on the earth's climate."
Asperger. They diagnosed her after she had a bout of anorexia following her awakening on the environment, according to the piece I was watching yesterday. So not that long ago. I mean, not something that her parents noticed when she was little.
Asperger's is hard to diagnose when they're really young. Around 4-5 you start seeing it more so it's probably normal to be diagnosed somewhere in the 5-7 range. It mostly presents with social interactions with their peers.
Yes and look up the page a few posts..... http://forums2.13x.com/index.php?threads/oh-greta-youre-a-mess.362789/page-16#post-5658944
