I have been tasked with finding a security camera that has the protective dome with pan, tilt and zoom and also be good for negative 35 to negative 40. Oh ya, and they want it to be inexpensive.
Hikvision might have something, although the temp requirement might be hard to meet... https://us.hikvision.com/en/products/cameras
Lorex makes good stuff. The temp requirement is going to be really difficult to meet. https://www.lorextechnology.com/hd-...-camera-with-color-night-vision/LZV2622BW-1-p
If you can build or buy an enclosure for the camera perhaps this would heat it? https://www.surveillance-video.com/...id/35145/s/accessory-vt-b-h-24/category/1981/
If I did that, then we would be worrying about a to high temperature instead of too cold. Dont you have some wires to go run or something.... I have to go be an electrician and grind of the polarity plug on a couple of 2 prong to 3 prong adapters. Turns out the Japanese use our style plug, un polarized, but with no ground. And at 100V. And some places are 50Hz and some are 60hz.
There is this unit made for cold weather but it isn't rated for as low as you need, but maybe combine with a heated enclosure. https://www.cctvsecuritypros.com/4k...ome-security-camera-with-motorized-zoom-lens/
This will do it but it's $730. https://www.cctvsecuritypros.com/se...amera-with-12x-optical-zoom-16x-digital-zoom/
I put Pythagoras to work today on some conduit bending. This is the one and ONLY time I’ll give the metric system a nod...what the fuck does 13.08457” come out to? Fuck it. 13-1/8”. Fit like a glove.
22’ in the air, clipped into Caddy clips, a sixteenth of an inch ain’t gonna cause any consternation.
