Pretty impressive..... R and GT models, both with 2.5L 3 cylinder, 167hp and 221Nm (!!!) of torque. No pricing yet....
Meh. I don’t need all the excess powertrain and I’ve never liked the butched tail of the Diavel, which this resembles.
Mixed feelings, kinda cool from certain angles but not a fan of that new look in the rear, almost like it has an extended swinger.
The best thing about the Triumph R3 is the video of the assembly of the first model. That was a hoot.
I'm sure I'll be forced into riding a cruiser one day, and I hate vtwins, so I'm glad they have this as a choice for me.
This ain't a cruiser How exactly will you be "forced" to ride a certain bike? Why do you hate V2's? RC51? SDR1290? I'm impressed with the specs and it looks way better than the last one, but it's still far away from my needs/wants in a bike.
-What exactly do you do with it besides cruise around? Its not a sportbike. It sure as hell ain't a dirtbike. Not sure how you'd call it an adventure bike. Cruiser seems to be the only catagory it fits in besides the "bad ass" catagory lol. - My back and wrists will dictate things as age progresses. Thats what old people tell me. - because they sound like crap. Yes even ducati's and rc51's. Just not my thing.
The riding position to me screams "standard". A ridiculously proportioned and powerful one, but still a standard.
