They make great screwdrivers, I've got another set of them too. This thing is like a swiss army knife of screwdrivers, really cool.

Talking to a guy there, the tool rebel thing was a joke but then heavy metal was the theme of a German tool show so they ran with it

I grabbed that and some traditional WERA screwdrivers on an Amazon deal of the day a few months ago. Good stuff for sure.

after 50 years of owning and riding bikes and I’m just now learning about JIS
( Japanese Industrial Standard) Screwdrivers?? This has to be the best kept secret in the motorcycle community.
I have to do some carb work so I order a set online , because every tool place i’ve Been has no idea what i’m Talking about . After ordering, I learn that there is a second standard , which in theory should work in both Phillips and JIS , the problem With that is , apparently they aren’t perfect in either one.
After reviewing the order I made I see it says 3 rd Generation... WTF is that ??

Wera is pretty nice, I have a couple of their torque screw drivers. Its a German brand but some tools are made in Czech Republic.
I personally prefer Wiha and PbSwiss handles.

There's only one screwdriver you need.

Only people who care about Phillips drive are people who like to make sure they get their money's worth out of their screw extractor bits. o_O

It would take to long ... Google it
Basically, it’s a pattern similar to Phillips but imo better . Most if not all Jap bikes use that pattern of Screws .
I always thought that they used shit metal for screws that’s why they always stripped on me . Had no idea I was just using the wrong tool ... that being a Phillips instead of JIS ..

And the screws have a little dot on the head to indicate JIS.
