anyone else hooked? Without getting into dungeon, I can't help but think a LOT ago it actually happens/happened in real life politics. Obviously much drama, but I can't stop. Me and the gf watch and while he's a complete scumbag in real life, Kevin spacey plays that part perfectly.
No doubt. But the series, IMHO, is done, toast, finnito, finished. Notwithstanding Spacey's sex issues, the story had run about as far as it could with that couple. It was, like so many, bending further and further into the absurd. I liked it, but I'm ready for something different. Cheers, Dave
There's a thread for that Johnny B http://forums.13x.com/index.php?threads/house-of-cards-is-the-best-show-on-television.314398/
I think that may have been the season where it went really downhill for me and I stopped watching it. First two were awesome though.
Some argue that the original British "House Of Cards" is better. I'm not among them, but it was interesting to watch. Same character names for the most part, slight differences in details. And at least the Brits had the good sense to end it quickly rather than mauling it to death with horrible writing.
Agree. Season 3 got way too out there with the crazy relationship stuff, especially with the Thomas Yates guy and Frank's other "tastes." I will admit, I'm mildly curious to see how they handle the final season with zero Spacey involvement......
