I have what was left of the front wheel from that crash--a hub, two bent discs and broken spokes about six inches long. Some spectator junped the fence and took the $5000 dash and some bodywork!
Agreed. That is bullshit. Especially when you consider that person likely has absolutely no idea what that dash does and has no use for it. I hate a damn thief. I wish I could have been standing beside them when they went to steal that stuff...
Hey now a-holes, I stated that I may have missed some confirmed riders in my first post Also, JU, I didn't see sponsor mentions in your press releases (except for one in STK600 I think) so I'm keeping your guys under Team Hammer until I see something or you correct me Motul Superbike Class: Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha Factory Racing - Yamaha R1 - Cameron Beaubier Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha Factory Racing - Yamaha R1 - Josh Hayes Yoshimura Suzuki - GSXR-1000 - Toni Elias Yoshimura Suzuki - GSXR-1000 - Roger Hayden Broaster Chicken/RoadRace Factory Honda - Honda CBR1000RR SP2 - Jake Gagne Meen Motorsports - Yamaha R1 - Josh Herrin Millenium Technologies/KWR Racing - Yamaha R1 - Kyle Wyman Bazzaz Superstock 1000: TOBC Racing - Yamaha R1 - Danny Eslick TOBC Racing - Yamaha R1 - Anthony Kosinski Yamahalube/Westby Racing - Yamaha R1 - Mathew Scholtz Meen Motorsports - Yamaha R1 - Bryce Prince Team Hammer - Suzuki GSXR-1000 - Jake Lewis Jelly Belly/Napa Valley Racing - Yamaha R1 - Roi Holster Thrashed Bike Racing - Yamaha R1 - Max Flinders Supersport: Monster Energy/Yamalube/Y.E.S./Graves/Yamaha - Yahamah R6 - Garrett Gerloff Monster Energy/Yamalube/Y.E.S./Graves/Yamaha - Yahamah R6 - JD Beach Rhoades Racing/Farrell Performance - Kawasaki ZX-6R - Mark Rhoades Rhoades Racing/Farrell Performance - Kawasaki ZX-6R - Jody Barry Team Hammer - Suzuki GSXR-600 - Valentin Debise Team H35 Racing - Honda CBR600RR - Benny Solis
"Jelly Belly", that is funny to me. It makes me want to go after them for sponsorship just so I can say "Jelly Belly" all the time.
I believe the fund raiser was to get Jason Farrell onto a ride for the season as well as the two younger riders, so I would think that Jody and Mark will still be racing with Farrell just doing wrenching instead of riding.
I know nothing about the two younger guys, but personally I wish it was the other way around. I would love to see what Farrell could do on a competitive bike/team with good backing. It wasn't that long ago that he finished 4th in an AMA SBK race at Road America (IIRC) in a 1-off race as a Privateer. He has a few lap records on his resume. I bet given the opportunity to race a full season, and ONLY focus on nothing but racing, on a good team/bike, he could do some good.
