This sounds like a great idea! Call your local Ducati dealer and see what they have to offer Eddie. Bump for a well sorted and meticulous pro-level bike.
Eddie, for what it's worth I can't understand why your bike hasn't sold. It should be a no-brainer for someone looking for a liter (or litre for those north of the border) bike. Hopefully with racing and tax return season coming up it'll sell soon.
Holy crap. What a deal. This seriously has me considering a trip down south. What kind of power does it make?
Yes, feels like a donation at that price. Similar power as the Westby and TOBC bikes. Ran alongside them in the traps all weekend at Jersey to finish the season.
Eddie, just read the parts list again. I didn't realize hanshaw had been through that motor. The bike looks more like a gift than a sale at this price.
It would be .. but the R1 is .. well, addictive. And yes, still available. Financing options available via Honda East as well.
If I wasn't getting married in July I would have already been making arrangements on this bike. If by some miracle of God it's still around in August, then I won't have an excuse to 'not' buy it...
I've had several people alert me to the level of crazy involved in pricing this bike (regardless of how many people truly have $20k laying around), so bike is off the market for now. Thanks.
Trackstar sold their R6 on an Facebook raffle, sold 150 tickets for $100 a piece, I think it took him 1 day to sell all the tickets. New owner of an R6 for $100. I would hope you could do the same with 230 tickets. Just an idea. Either way good luck with surgery and sale, Eddie.
