The Ranger is nice.
I'm a fan of Tudor. Quite nice stuff for the money.

Tudor website is super annoying. I don't want to navigate a damn Flash-based marketing brochure with off-angle shots, I want to see a list of watch face styles with options for each.

Some of the Vintage Tudor stuff is great, I'm just not willing to pay those prices..

 

Vintage Tudors used to be stupid cheap. Not any more.

 

I passed on a Tudor sub about 6 years ago for next to nothing. Stupid.

That's a great deal on the SS fastrider chrono. It may scratch my Daytona itch if it weren't for the massive print and the ridiculous racing stripe on the dial.

 

The Ducati co-branding and the round date window at the 4 kill it for me. I'm good with my Tiger Tudor

 

Used to be. Not any more is right.

Dave & JBraun, i sent a note to Rado to see what they had to say about my Radolux pair. I'm thinking it was a sub-line of Rado at one point. We'll see.

I passed on a Tudor "sub" for $700 in perfect condition. Man, did I screw the pooch on that one.

 

I'm sure you thought it was $695 too expensive

 

If I couldn't make $100 on it, hells yeah.

 

FYI - There's a big Tag sale going on at Jomashop. Some of the best deals I've seen.

 

I saw that and found the one watch that I would actually pay what I call "stupid" money for.

 

I've been looking through that sale and there's a couple of Carreras that I like but . . . I'm saving my pennies for two IWCs.

 

RD I have the Carrera Calibre 16 with stainless band and love it. Similar to the 1887. I have looked at getting the leather band for it, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I bought this titanium Tag Carrera two years ago. Still working fine.



I wear it so frequently that I had to replace the band. Found some very well made bands on http://www.watchstrapworld.com/ and purchased one that actually has a layer of carbon fiber used instead of the OEM "carbon look" one.

 

Scotty, how's the other watch doing? That thing is silly. :up:

 

Funny...I still keep an eye out for that...didn't know you finally tracked one down. Where did you find it?
