Damn straight I'm voting! No way in hell do I want Martha Coakley to be Governor!

Flash back: She's the one that Scott Brown defeated for Ted Kennedy's vacant Senate seat. The irony this time around is that she is running for Governor of Massachusetts and Scott Brown is running for Governor of New Hampshire.

We have four important questions regarding automatic gas tax hikes, expanding the bottle bill to include non carbonated beverages, allowing three casinos and a betting parlor to be built and requiring businesses with 11 or more employees to provide paid sick days.

    Not choosing is a choice.
You can't exempt yourself from the process.
I thought you were smarter than that.

Until someone worth voting for hits the scene I have absolved myself of the process. When the choice is no longer which of the 2 piles of shit smells less than I'll go back to bothering to vote. You can't sell me on the lesser of 2 evils argument.

It would be nice if everyone with this attitude would at least get off their asses & go vote 3rd party.

    I'll play devil's advocate:

Kenny, if the two steaming piles of shit don't appeal to you, make your way to the polls an cast a ballot for a party other than the two steaming piles of shit.

It's only through election results that the third parties get ballot access

Yep, you're right. I was getting mixed up because he was was considering the Massachusetts Governorship and Shaheen was the former Governor of NH.

    Shit! Coakley's pulling ahead.

Sorry..until the citizens are ready to pick up their guns and head to Washington the 3rd party doesn't exist.

Holy crapola, the VA senate race is a lot closer than anyone thought it was going to be. Gillespie ran one hell of a race.

  14. I voted, and I'm not sure how much it matters, but we did get Gov Corbett out of office.

While I think the vote for a third party is usually wasted, at least that voter tried to make a difference. You can't refuse to participate at all and then bitch about everything.

And lost. Not a good thing. Jeanne Shaheen sucks donkey balls.
We lost on the Governor, also.
The businessman lost, the lawyer/career politician from out of state won.

You don't necessarily have to move south to be a carpetbagger. Carpetbagger Hillary Clinton moved north to New York. Carpetbagger Robert Kennedy moved west to New York. :D

Charlie Baker 47.73%, Martha Coakley 47.37% with 90.38% reporting.
