I got a 1996 F3 that I put together from a whole bunch of spares that I planned on doing track days on and maybe doing some racing but now plans have changed and I'm looking to sell. Trying to decide if I should sell the bike as a whole or part it out. Here are the details 1996 F3 with a F2 engine using f3 carbs and ram air. Just tuned by HFD1 Motorsports Front forks worked by Thermosman with valve kit - 0 miles Fox double adjustable rear shock, serviced by thermosman - 0 miles New 520 sprockets and chain Vortex gas cap Aftermarket rear sets - can't make out the name on them but they are some really nice rear sets. Complete set of race body work. Dentless fuel tank APE timing chain adjuster Alien Motion Light Weight Battery Steering Dampener SS brake line front and rear Nice set of Black F3 wheel with rotors Yoshimura RS-3 Carbon fiber full system, Spare aluminum can Here are a few pics.
Yeah yeah I know, I just can't justify having 3 race/track bikes. Plus the deal I got on this newer bike, I couldn't pass it up.
Most of the V7 crowd would be around the $2k mark up to possibly $2500 in my opinion from selling about 6 V7 platforms. Just sit down and put together all the pristine race goodies at a price you know will sell easy, not top dollar. See what the total is. I think its going to be close either way but its been a while since I have checked F2/F3 parts.....F3 front ends use to be good money...F3 rear wheels to SV guys...etc, etc.... Good luck. Personally hang on to it for future....I should have kept my Muzzy Kawi!
Thanks for the info Chuck, I'm probably going to part it out unless someone here wants to make me a offer I can't refuse. If anyone is interested in some parts, just let me know.
