The statement wasn't about classification. According to quite a number of sources, it does act as a depressant. Please feel feel free to argubate yourself if you wish.
it's a blood test. i don't know the criteria for probable cause, but it's probably the same as for alcohol.
This was one of the issues discussed during the election. The law doesn't prevent or affect any sort of private drug policies. WA (and I believe CO) are both at-will-employment states anyway, so unless there's a labor contract involved - which would have to be a pretty awfully-written contract to have that vague enough of a stance on drug policy - either party can end the employment relationship at any time, for any reason.
That's interesting. Thanks for the info (on testing). It sucks if you're not a pothead, though. With alcohol, they can take a breathalyzer test before going for the blood test.
Oh, and for what it's worth, I haven't done any weed in years. MANY years. Sad thing is, I hate the fact that I don't have the freedom to consume it if I wanted to due to laws, company policies, etc. Me and the ol lady would get a joint off of one of my old pothead friends once, maybe twice a year when we would be free of the chillins and work for a few days, and we'd get a room at Myrtle beach and lock ourselves in with beer and take out pizza, and we'd giggle and act stupid and then we'd make out in a very pornographic way. After that we'd watch Wheel Of Fortune and fall asleep. The next morning we'd wake up and giggle about the weekend and go home to our punkass kids. That's how we've always treated MJ. Oh, and to those of you that scoff at that and say I'm in the minority, I'm here to tell ya I ain't. The over-whelming majority of those that would vote for legalization of MJ treat it the same way as us. We can use, or not. No big deal.
I'm not sure that it being illegal is the only thing that kept me from ever trying. I've never had the slightest interest. But since it wasn't legal when I was 20, I guess I'll never know for sure.
In that case, we have some questions concerning a party you attended in the late 70s regarding the reputation of a young lady which may or may not have been sullied due to your supposed actions.
I just picked a number. I would imagine that most people who have smoked weed were doing it at 20. Doesn't mean it's when they started. So what happened, were you pouting with your arms crossed, waiting for someone to invite you back for days after your ban expired? By the way, the second part of my empty threat could be coming at anytime. Tomorrow, this summer… Who knows?
