    Sounds like the BMW WSB option is closed. Chaz Davies is reported to be taking that seat.

    didnt they say during wsbk race one that suzuki is set to make an announcement and a "factory" bike back on the grid for 2013?

    A secure retirement?
    He gives it one year.
    Whether the bike is sub-par or not in '13, everyone already thinks it's sub-par, so if he doesn't do well - it's the bike. If he does do well, it's all him.

    If he doesn't do well, he's still probably first in line for a Suzuki GP #1 spot, and could still get any number of factory rides in WSB.
    If he does do well, he'll have plenty of options.
