http://www.motorcycleshippingsolutions.com/ From Chicago to Los Angeles in 3-5 days. No damage. Tracking. $600:up:
Check with AF1! I used the same shipping company that they suggested with great results ie no damage!
www.uship.com Ct to IL = $400. Unfortunately the guy dropped something on my tank and scratched it up a bit. He offered to pay for it. I told him skip the $400 and well call it even. Worked out in the end I guess.
JCmotors.com also known as: http://www.motorcycleshippers.com/ I've used them twice and Forward Air once, this one was door to door and Forward air I had to bring it to a warehouse and picked up the bike from another warehouse with a big ass staple in the tire.
These guys are awesome. http://www.uship.com/profile/AMTTRANS/ I put out uShip auction.... for a KTM 530.... Upstate NY to ATL... Bidding started at $650 and 2 weeks. I ended up with #345 and TWO DAYS. AmtTrans JUST ships bikes, they piggybacked my bike with another. Bought the bike Wed -- Had the bike FRIDAY after work... doesn't get much better than that, much less for less than $350. TIPS... Give the auction some time.... come off as kinda flaky... it took about a week for the price to totally break. This is another guy on there with an awesome rep, he originally broke the $450 mark at $350 trying to tighten up a load. http://www.uship.com/profile/I95TRANSPORTER/ Bike was packed/shipped perfectly... Will ONLY use Uship in the future--the price/time savings is just too good. I've shipped several bikes and this was the best experience. One drawback is that you kinda of need to really plan your pick-up/delivery because these guys are small carriers picking you up on their route.
+1 on Forward Air. They couldn't make it any quicker or easier. I hate waiting!!!! Especially for a new toy!
