Sunday I was trying to fly to Boston, but it was shut down because he was flying in to campaign to help save Kennedy's senate seat for the Dems. I don't really care about that, but I was pissed to be sitting on the tarmac in Detroit, then a holding pattern over the Atlantic waiting for him to leave. Damn the man.
I was worried that my travel around Boston was going to be interrupted. Thank God for that. But in the past, I got stuck in a 55 MPH traffic jam from Boston to Concord, NH on Rt. 93 back when Clinton was running for President. His campaign bus was in the middle lane with the escort motorcade preventing all traffic from overtaking and passing the whole mess. George Bush picked Biketoberfest 2002 to fly into Daytona and go to some rally out of town, completely stopping the already jammed up traffic in the area.
That probably sucked... That seat actually belongs to the people of Massachusetts...not the Dead Kennedy.
Old Joe didn't siphon votes. He printed them and had them stuffed into ballot boxes in Chicago in 1960. Nixon knew about this but never raised a challange or requested a recount. Wierd.
Not sure that this is the case here but often in these situations, where opponent don't challenge the vote counting, is simply because they have their voting skeletons lying around... It's a case where the more ressourceful cheater wins...
blah blah blah...I left Malaysia at 4pm, and could have stayed the night in Singapore but nooooo he was there along with others so all the hotels were booked. So instead, I had a 5 hour layover in Singapore airport, took the redeye to Tokyo where I had an 8hr layover there before taking my 13hour flight home. Next year I asked my counterparts in Singapore to schedule my arrival a month or so earlier for the F1 race. (I did get to stand on a corner that was part of the course). I can only imagine the sound echoing through tunnels and the surrounding buildings. Anyway, next time I'm making my own flight arrangements. Fly to Hong Kong, then directly to Singapore or Malaysia. Tad longer flight across the pond but should make it up in the lack of layovers. Course a layover in HK would be cool...haven't been there in years.
