Here in about a month I'm going to do my first race. I've been doing track days for a couple of years and I'm ready to race and try some new tracks. I'm by no means a fast guy, although I dream that I am, so I hope that I don't get in the way too much. Anyway, I could just use some pointers and maybe some tips on my first racing season. Thanks

Also, a great time to make new friends is any time you see somebody coming in with his bike on the back of the crash truck.

"Hey dude, I see you had a little tumble. You must suck at this!"

Pre-register for your races and make sure your bike will pass tech.

It makes things sooooooooooooo much easier for you without that stuff to worry about.
