MIchellin Tire contengency??what the f?

Anybody else have a problem with the michelin tire program/ Waiting forever for them to post the money on to your card and then Once it is finally on your card OOPS ! the $$$ gets stolen of off it by one of the track vendors. I am not gonna name anyone yet, I am gonna let him try and square things away, but after all I did contact him about this over 6 months ago and have been waiting on some resolve. Guess what! Nothing!!!
Last year I only bought one tire from the Michelin guys, it was a rain rear at VIR. Money that our team had won ( $ 600 at the time) hadnt been credited to the card yet because of What? So I left my card with the Michelin man in question to be returned to me once he got the money off the card, I didnt get the card back until the GNF and all the extra $$(around $300) that had finally been put on the card. Yep it was gone. How much does 1 of those rain rears cost again????

Oh and if your wondering I had prepurchased my tires from MOTORACE.com. Awesome deal on the Old style pilots! That would actually last a whole 6 hour race.

I talked to Michelin on 4/15 prior to entering the track at Barber they had not received any results from WERA at that time but WERA evidently had mailed them because other vendors had received them. Angie Flaherty is the girl who enters the info for Michelin. I spoke to the Smart Card people yesterday. Michelin had turned in the results and the woman at Smart Card was going to try to have them posted to all cards by tonight... We are in the Eastern Time Zone.. Smart card is in the Pacific so she said by 5:00 pt that would be 8:00 et. She said feel free to call and verify around 4:30 PT that the money had been added. I agree, I don't care for the card. As I was talking to the woman at Smart Card she also told me they only update once a month. So anything turned in after that one update for the month will linger out there until the next month. You may race three times before they update again. That sucks... We are waiting for about 1400.00 to show up.. I hope it is on before this weekend but it may be VIR before we can use it. Hopefully it will be on the cards this evening.. Good Luck!!

Once you Michelin turns it in .. you will receive a Smart Card in the mail but not sure if WERA has turned in results from Barber.
