Michelin Card

If anyone has one of these cards can you share a customer service number with me. I have been calling 1-877-505-6993... It is constantly busy or enlighten me with another way to contact customer service.

I would appreciate it.

I don't have one of the cards, but the Michelin web page lists customer support 1-800-847-3435 between 8:30am and 6pm ET

If now them, they atleast should be able to get you the right number.

Try this number it worked for me

864-458-5000

You will most likely have to leave a voice mail message but she will call you back. Her name is Angie Flaherty, nice women! She gave me the low down on my card troubles, yep the money is there & has been there all along but for some reason the vendor either does not have the swiper gizmo with him or the card is swiped incorrectly each time showing "0" balance. In short michelin has through the end of the GNF to pay up or I'm gone its just that simple!! I don't blame michelin entirely, the lady was nice on the phone & straight to the point, basically said it was someone else at fault. In short my money is there I just can't obtain it so what good is un-useable contingency

BTW the call was to Greenville, South Carolina according to my long distance phone bill.

Good luck.

I finally got through to the Smart Card people and just like you said they said 0.00 balance and that Michelin only debits the accounts once a month. She could not tell me what day they transfer. I will try the number you gave me for the woman in Greenville and see what she says. I live not far from there. I appreciate the information.

Thanks!!

My understanding is (and it may not be accurate) that if you run michelin tires and are due contingency money, you get this smart card. When contingency is due they debit your card and then you use it at the track for tires. It is like certificates that dunlop sends etc. The problem is the money is supposedly there (according to Michelin) but when you call for your balance the smart card people that handle this are showing no balance so you don't get to use the contingency.

Hmmm... alright... I think Well, if you go to the track, and try and use your smart card, can't they verify the balance there, or when you try to buy tires? They should be able to check the balance in real time, otherwise, you could end up with FREE Tires

Free tires would be nice. I am going to try that lady tomorrow and if not I guess we will just pay for tires as we normally do. A little help would have been nice though.

Thanks for all the info. It is appreciated.

Walt should be there at the gnf and Ron Wood(he has been the man putting the money on the cards) will be roaming around Many higher ups will be at Road atlanta. Good time to vent your frustration out. We have been getting our money on a regular time frame the last half of the year. I think they have been getting the bugs out of the system. Next year i have been told it will much better with only one time form filling out ect. Walt should be able to help you out with the card balance give him a call 256-538-5906

Thanks!! I appreciate it. I was trying to figure the ole budget for GNF for my son and was just seeing if anything had been added to his card at this point. It may not be on there because it just takes that long. It wasn't a whole lot but every little bit helps. Again, thanks for the number.

Anyone with a card and is interested. I talked to Angie at Michelin. She is super nice and very helpful. Said she had been out for a week and was doing her best to have all money posted to cards and sent to Smart Card prior to the GNF. So.. I appreciated her service. Thanks to everyone for the helpful info.

Good luck at the GNF...
