None to do with the track surface though. Today several of us MARRC cornerworkers were there doing some pre-season prep. The first change you will notice will be the buildings being constructed on the left as you enter the gate. The ambulance company bought the land and will have a building(s?) of their own there. Because of this the road to the paddock has been re-routed some. The other change is something I mentioned to Jens last year on the SP forum as it would be nice from a cornerworker perspective. The 'hot tubs' have been replaced with gazebos. The next thing I noticed was the new bathrooms. OK, still a work in progress I think. I hope. The last big change that is really beneficial to us as racers is the leveling of the berm on the outside of T3. > Jens
wow!!!!! how cool is all of that!!!!! man....a.serious repave would be icing on the cake. but it makes me jealous that im not ready for the season.... nice work.
Keep that dozer running and clear the woods and brush back about 100ft on both sides of the track....all the way around.
Best news I've heard today - I kid you not. Every step towards MC racer safety is a very good thing. Thanks you Jens and Summit Point  See you in two weeks.
ckruzll- I'll be there, we can finally meet f2f. all-I'm told by a reliable source that the bathroom mess and porta-potties will be there for about five weeks, then we will have a modern new shower/bathroom facility. The other shower/bath building up by the scoring toer is intact, so we sill have that to use on 4/2-3. Props to Jens for keeping the ball rolling on a great, venerable facility! This is good stuff.
