A properly crimped rivet link on your motorcycle’s chain is critical for safety. DID’s KM500 chain tool is built to help you cut most chains to the proper length then set the connecting link plates in place at the correct depth and then rivet each pin correctly.

What's the difference between this model (DID KM500) and the 'DID CHAIN TOOL KM501E'

The KM500 is listed as being 10 times stronger then the previous model (which I believe is the KM501E) We stock both but only use the KM500.
