Still a few kinks in the Gixxer SF project to work out.

I now have the radiator off getting the neck replaced so I can FILL it with antifreeze for the summer. The neck is bent so the cap doesn't seat right on so when the coolant gets up to temp it drizzles out. I found out the hard way.

While I was in there I re-routed some hoses, did some cleaning, fixed a grommet.

Next I'll deal with the buzz noise up front. So far this is all I have found. I'm quite anal so I'm sure I'll find more to fix.

Looks good! i dont care for the tallish windscreen but realize you need something to kind of cover up the gauges... maybe cut it down 2-3 inches?

Not the best, but it does help keep some of the wind off my chest.

Pretty cool. I'd lose the passenger pegs or paint them black. Good job though, different looking bike.

Looks good. How does it ride ? Upright and wheelie monster I would think.

They are coming off, at least the left on is till I get a hanger.

Almost upright and yes, a wheelie monster.

I really hate to be an asshole here, but the headlight killed it.

Really Cool Bike, I would ditch the "S" on the tank...unless they gave you money, parts or both.

Check out the headlight on a V-Rod or the MV Brutale...both would look really good on your bike...you may have to modify the FlyScreen alittle, but I think you could make it work.

Where did you source the top triple clamp?

I have an 04 GSX-R1000 StreetFighter in the works..if I can ever get time to work on it more.

Where did the headlamp brackets come from?
I keep thinking I want to change my Speed Triple (w/clip-ons) to a single headlight, and available brackets would help. LSL make some but very spendy for something I might not keep.
Nice tidy job on the GSXR, BTW, really like it.

    Cheers

I have no idea, but thanks for the props.

That's what I was looking for till I found this.

I actually set a date with a guy to pick up his Tuono, but he told another guy I had set the date and he let that dude come in before me to get it. :tut: I'm glad he did, cause he's having problems with the Tuono he bought.
