Noticed that there were a couple individuals in the AM MW SS class that finished the race up front and then were not listed as the winner and runner-up. Anybody know what happened (protests, DQ, cheater motors in the Amateur class).
There was one DQ; JUAN CARLOS OSORIO was running a 750 motor in a 600 frame: http://www.jenningsgp.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=18546
His crew was bragging about killing everyone with the 600... I told my boy that there was no way that was a 600. Glad to see they took his results off him.
It was my understanding that he was confronted about it several times and denied it at several events and then finally formally protested at Daytona.
Sounds like the same guy that was killing all the 600's at the ccs Jersey race and lots of guys complained so tech asked him to bring his bike to tech so they could check it.He refused and packed up and left so we all knew he was cheating. It was just way faster on the straight then everybody else.Glad he got DQ'd
I new it was a 750 raced against him in the spring at daytona.... should have been much faster then he was with a 750 tho.
My very limited experience has shown me that any CCS SS class usually is under protest until all the top 3 finishers has reported to post-race tech and been torn down.
The "tear down" only checks the airbox for modification. It's mandatory in all SS classes for top 3...
Damn...that shit would get old every race. ...well not for me, but for the fast guys it would. But have they seriously had that many cheaters along the line that they feel they have to do that to every person in the top 3 in every SS race?
