That being said, its also true that we need the cash. Anyone interested can PM me.
Sorry to hear about the health issues bob......I bought Steve-O's bike a short while ago, and was hoping to run you on this bike. Good luck with the sale. That tank is frikkin sweet.
Bob....sorry to hear you have to sell the bike. From the few pics i've seen of your bike.....its a looker for sure.....hell of a deal. I had a hard time selling that tank.....of all the tanks i've built......thats one of my fav's!! Hope things turn around for the better soon......get well!!
That's a killer deal for sure. I can't afford it now otherwise I'd be on my way to sunny Florida this instant. Good luck with the sale. If you decide to sell the tank separately I'll buy it from you.
If anyone needs better pics let me know, I'll email larger file sizes. And again. I'll entertain any & all offers
I am looking to run a 350 next year (for the first time). A couple of questions: - what is required to get this into a finished runner? - what classes will it be fully legal for? - will Buff vouch for the bike? Thanks
1: to get running: It needs a 18 inch rim laced to the hub. I have 2 used front race tires, a Dunlop KR825 & an Avon am22 110, it has a avon 120 race tire on the rear Brake pads from vintage brake for the front brake caliper (caliper needs rebuilt, I have the kit from Mike's XS) The coils system for the new PVL need mounted Forks need rebuilt, I have new fork seals, springs & Mike's XS emulators for the job. The old honda forks from a CB750 go with the bike also. 2: Classes: Wera's Vintage 1 & 2, Ahrma's F250 with a disc, if you mounted up a drum on the honda forks Ahrma's 350 & 500 sportsman 3: Will Buff Vouch for the bike? I'm certain he will, contact him, Buff, if you see this feel free to chime in if you want. This bike will be a major threat for not only race wins but a championship in capable hands.
Got to go. Will arrange to meet somewhat in the middle for those that live a good distance away from my beach abode. Or a sojourn on Sunset beach perhaps...
