2005 R6; track/race only; clear title; Northern VA; $4500
2005 R6, asking $4500 OBO, clear title, located in northern VA, <10k miles (mostly street miles, used as a track bike only in 2007):
I decided to sell my 2005 R6 track/race bike so I can focus more on street riding and long distance touring. I don't have any of the original plastics for it, except the undertail, tail light and oem headlight. I currently have PIAA driving lights on there to make it "street legal." It's been in one lowside at Summit Main, turn 4, so there are some minor scratches on the tank, frame and exhaust. It may not be showroom quality, but the frame is straight and it runs perfect. Here's a video of my last run at summit (check your volume first, it's a little loud) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQLkH_pVSJY The forks have GP Suspension valving in them, and the rear shock has been serviced by them as well. Sport Rider magazine did an article on GP Suspension and the work they do on a 2005 R6 (click here). Here's the full list of stuff currently on the bike, or going with the sale: -Galfer stainless steel brake lines, front and rear -GP Suspension fork valves, stock springs, serviced recently with new seals -GP Suspension serviced stock shock -Woodcraft clipons -Woodcraft rearsets with some extra levers/bolts -Woodcraft frame sliders -NRC engine covers, both sides, never installed -New e-racing race fairings with superbike tail ready to be painted -used GP Composites race fairings (lowsided, needs work) -air intake slide stops -superflare velocity stacks -BMC air filter -ignition advancer -AIS blocked off -PC3 tuned by a&j cycle performance -Full Leo Vince exhaust -OEM stock headlights, seat -Scotts damper The gray colored fairings are the newer fairings, and the yellow ones are the older GP's that was on the bike when I lowsided at Summit: ![]() Here's the rest of the newer gray fairings. superbike tail and fender, ready to be installed: ![]() GP Suspension serviced rear shock: ![]() GP Suspension valving in the front forks: ![]() |

i hate playing the pricing game, lowering it a few bucks every week or so. $3500 is the absolute lowest i'll go. cash preferred.
