Provisional Novice at a combined regional/national event

    "Under a Provisional Novice License, a rider may race Sportsman events but not a National Challenge Series event"

    - Almighty rulebook


    How does this rule apply to combined events (particularly Bluegrass Motorsports Park 6/12-6/14)?

    If the event is combined a Provisional can race in his/her class - they will be gridded to the back of the grid unless they have points. They can not race the Endurance, only Practice and Sprints that weekend if they are still Provisional.

    I had the same question and figured I would have to sit the WHOLE weekend out. Looks like I will at least get to run the sprints on Sunday. :up:

    What about the Solo races? Can a prov. novice do a solo race at this Bluegrass event?
