sale pending

To the last three of you asking for pictures: the bike looks like it's been sold. When it's final I'll let everyone know. If anything doesn't work out, I'll send out more pictures.

roadracer618: the photos I sent to your tdiaz address (@yahoo.com) bounced.

1anoney: I'll send pix in a minute.

CuStOm: I'll send pix in a minute. The wheels are forged magnesium Marchesinis originally sold for a GSXR & other bikes. The rear is a 180. Both wheels go on the bike w/o any obnoxious spacers or other fitment issues. Sprockets are GSXR, easy to get.

Here are some pics that the seller emailed me.

This is an awesome SV. I am still very interested in the wheels. You say they do not take a spacer on the rear, how was this done to accommodate a 5.5" wheel and what year/model bike was the wheel intended for?

Thanks!

CuStOM: Thanks for putting up those links!

Like I said, these were Sold for GSXRs & other bikes; what I meant by no "obnoxious" spacers are that the spacers on the rear are captive in the seals, & don't become a PITA every time you change tires like some mix & match wheel setups. In front the Ohlins fork uses a sleeve in the left fork leg that recieves the axle and serves a spacer. That sleeve is machined to the correctly center the wheel.

No problem on the pics....should make things easier.

If, for some crazy reason, you end up parting this thing out (might get more money quicker) I got first dibs on the wheels/spacers! Maybe the forks and brakes too.

Good luck with the sale.
Cheers
