Smile 03 GSX-R1000 Lots of Mods

I've been trying to sell it for a few months. Let me be perfectly straight with you guys... people find it hard to believe it only has 300 miles. The bike was used as a track bike only... never been on the streets. It's never been registered, never been insured, its literally never been on the streets. If i don't find a buyer here, im gonna make it street legal and sell the mods. Its currently on ebay item number 140215124082 good luck bidding. i am located in Los Angeles California.

Pirelli Dragon Slicks
Sato Racing Cut Exhaust
Adjustable everything
Dynojet Power Commander III system
ICS Stabilizer
Ohlins Suspension all around.
Billet Triple
Integrated LED brake light
Alarm System
Custom Fitted Headlight originaly from a Ducati 999
The Race Plastics are all attached with quick release.
Entire body comes off in less than a minute.

I'm not really an experienced rider, i was able to get ahold of this bike by trading my R1 for it. I personally never took it to the track. Its been garaged for a year and a half. Its currently not registered, but i have an appointment at DMV this wednesday to register it. The title is clean.

Here are some pics.

$8000

A few questions:

- Do those wheels and forks come with it?
- What kind of triples are those, the lower one is pretty unusual.
- Is the speedo hooked up? I think the reason people may be having a hard time with 300 miles is the fact that it visually looks like alot more when you look at pts like the radiator/oil cooler and the rotors etc...........
- What's been done to the engine?

i got the bike the way it is. when the guy who sold it to me told me it only has 300 miles i believed him..... someone in another forum told me that maybe he put the Odo off a 300 mile bike onto this and i fell for it. no one knows for sure. i didn't build this bike. the bike comes with everything attached. wheels, forks, everything. i don't know what brand the triples are. i am unable to find a logo anywhere on it. i tried to get in contact with the guy who sold it to me, but he hasn't been returning my calls. im not trying to swindle anyone, im merely telling you what the bike's odometer says on it. and that is why i mentioned that people have a hard time believing it. if i can find a buyer for it the way it is, that is excellent. else, im going to change it to stock and sell the upgrades on ebay. so far on the auction there have been over 2000 hits and 26 watchers but no bids. im fairly certain that it will not sell and i will be forced to stick to my plan of making it stock and then selling it.

Hey don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say your out to swindle anyone. I'm curious about the triples because they look different/cool.
If the bike comes as pictured and there's nothing wrong with any of it, it's worth every penny of what your asking for it.
If I didn't live on the other side of the country I'd come look at it.
I would do some more research and let people know exactly whats on it as far as the wheels, fork legs, triples, motor work etc.

i think with the 1000, 2003 was the first year the mileage is actually stored in the ECU, not the gauges.

That is incorrect (at least on U.S. models).

i think 7000 is a pretty fair price considering the mods the bike has.
