2001 Toyota Tacoma Ext Cab 4WD SR5V6

2001 Toyota Tacoma SR5 V6 Extended Cab 4WD, straight side. ~107,000 miles. 5-speed manual trans. Pwr windows, door locks, A/C, sliding rear window, flip-open back windows, window tint, AM/FM Cassette CD Stereo (factory Toyota), beige cloth interior, carpeted, Toyota fitted rubber floormats.

LOCATED IN S. FLORIDA, ASKING $11k. Will arrange shipping for non-local buyers, or can deliver myself around the East Coast depending on timing, price, etc.

Engine and all systems run great, no oil leaking or burning. The 4WD works great (I had it in Park City for a few months this Winter and it was awesome in the snow). Includes shift-on-the-fly electronic 4WD, as well as 4WD Lo and 4WD Hi.

Color is that Toyota silver/beige (I think it's called Champagne?). Again, finish is in great shape except for the two small dents in the tailgate.

Multiple 12V charging outlets.

No damage except for two small dent/scratches in the tail-gate and one small imperfection in the inside roof liner near driver's side.

Truck always maintained by Toyota, including major service (timing belt, etc., at <90K), brakes done in the last 25K, two newer tires, 2 a little older but still good tread. Oil changed regularly according to Toyota service intervals.

Bed has Line-X spray in black bedliner and US Rack system in the front, which includes two wheel chocks to help hold up bikes while loading them by ones self, and extra tie-down points for tie-downs, including one in the middle (very handy).

Also includes a combination bed-extender/ramp. I use this when hauling bikes to both load/unload the bikes and to give me extra room in the bed (on the tailgate) for more carrying room.

Class III hitch w/4-way flat wiring harness installed.

I've hauled a two bikes in the back with gear, a 12 foot trailer with 2 bikes and a lot of gear, and stuff in the cab (in the back seat area) for over 1,000 miles each way, and the truck pulls easy, stops strong, no problems. Didn't do too much towing with it, only 2 trips.

When flying through states that don't care as much about speeding and hauling/towing all of that stuff I would get something like 14mpg (@85mph), and when driving slowly through places like VA I would get in the 16-17 range while hauling/towing all of that stuff (@65mph). Around town I get slightly under 20mpg, and slightly over 20mpg on the highway while not towing/hauling.

Truck is located in South Florida and will be ready for pickup in about 3 weeks (1st week of April), as soon as I get my new vehicle.

I have a couple of pictures of it loaded up from a previous trip, but I don't know if I have any of it unloaded and it's at my FL place right now so I won't be able to take new pics for a couple of weeks, but I will do so then for any interested parties. The old pics are only a few months old so they're pretty representative of what it looks like now.

Asking $11,000. I was offered $12,500 for this truck about a year ago, and since then had the major service done, bed liner, rack, ramp, etc. Includes US Rack bed rails w/extra tie-down points and wheel chocks, and Bed Extender/Ramp. Truck will be detailed inside & out before sale, lube/oil/filter will be performed by Toyota, and the truck will be good to go with just oil changes until the next minor service at 120k miles. Title status clean and clear, and in hand.

If interested, PM me here or email srajan01@gsb.columbia.edu.

OK, the first pic is the truck with the 12 ft trailer, so you can see what it tows:

The second pic is the front of the truck, for an idea of its looks:

The third pick shows the bed extender in action (this extender comes off and becomes a ramp for loading/unloading - works really well):

The fourth pic shows the bed rail, with the wheel of the bike in the chock and the closest tie down going to one of the additional tie-down points:

The fifth pic shows the bed rail system from an the mfr's website (note the wheel cradle-style chocks and the extra tie-down points...they come in handy):

The sixth pic shows the bed extender/ramp in use as a ramp (note that this is the full size ramp in this picture, where as the compact one that comes with this truck for is shorter than the one in this picture):

I don't have any interior shots, but the inside is clean. Again, will send pics on request in a couple of weeks.

I will be able to deliver this vehicle up the East Coast (as far as NYC area) over the course of the Summer, and to various places in the mid-West as the season progresses, if someone not-local buys it.
