    Comments??????????

    $33,000 for a Honda twin?

A new short stroke Manx or G50 fully kitted can be had for that price. Two new MV Augusta F4 1000's.

A well set up bike, with history, no doubt. But, Hales is obviously quite proud of its stuff.

It still blows about the exchange rate. I've been waiting two years to buy an exhaust for my Norton race bike. May end up just getting one made locally and hope it is halfway decent. As far as Hales goes, nice people on the phone but that bike is pretty pricey at any exchange rate. D&M Racing have about the same parts at about the same price, not sure how much their bikes are though.

A brand new Molnar Manx is 25,000 Pounds Sterling, that's about $51,000 and a Molnar G50/7R is 22,000 Pound Sterling, about $44,500. $33,000 for a Honda twin is still very expensive though.

Andy does think a lot of his stuff. I bet Fred is more reasonable . . . .

May be the main problem is the exchange rate.
    On 26th October 2000 1 euro=0.82$
    On 10th July 2002 1 euro= 1$
    And tomorrow ? 1 euro=1.50$ ? Wait Bernanke decision (11th December)

From what I remember from a Classic Racer article from last year, a new "Landsdowne" Manx from FWD is between 23,000 and 25,000 Pounds Sterling, depending on spec.

I think the price of this bike is 12K too expensive.
