That is a bone stock Motocross frame and motor.... just differnt suspension and wheels, as well as GP bodywork. So yes, it is a bad dream I guess, because you are seeing things :p

I wouldnt say that. It is a NEW breed of bikes, as an introduction to supersports. A 450 single would be closer to a 125 road race machine than a 250, as the 250s they race against on dirt are singles as well.

You have to admit, for a n00b a thumper will be more forgiving than even a 125gp, and it will still be gobs of fun for hooligan seasoned riders as well though

Intriguing. That is an old TZ, but with a 426 thumper motor in it huh? Not quite the same thing, as it probably weighs more (a 450f weighs about 220lbs) but damn close.

Too bad I am still broke from crashing and trying to put my heap of GSXR back to something that resembles a motorcycle

Ok, so If I start with a 1998 yz400 (to save money on the doner bike) and rip off my suspension of my GSXR...... I wonder if I could make it work.

Now to figure out the tank situation too

I understood the class to be pretty heavily regulated as far as exactly what you can build, and what parts you can use.

I overheard a comment about WERA already having a clubman class and this being something different.

It sounds like a lot of fun, but might not be as cheap as it seems on the face of it.
