I need a piece of brake hose to run from my resivoir to my M/C about 4 inches. I tried all the local places but didn't have any luck. Thanks for any help.

Fred at Yoyodyne has the Brembo stuff. Kind of pricey but a foot last's a life time. Brake hose is not the place to be cheap and find out the non dot stuff isn't compatible. IMO.

Very true. Non-compatible stuff will start sweating and fail very quickly.

.. for sure, gotta use the Brembo brake line. Had other hoses "sweat" but no issues once switched to the Brembo stuff.

I just went through the same thing last week. Stopped at a bike shop and asked for hose/tube that I could use and they gave me some clear tubing. Next day I found it sweating through the tube (and I was a little pissed that bike shop of guys who race would give me tube that sweats brake fluid). I called SpeedWerks (why oh why didn't I call them initially??) and Steve mentioned the Brembo tubing that he could give me, but I wasn't going to drive 1.5 hours to get 4" of it. He suggested hitting any auto parts store and asking for fuel injector line. It's not clear, but are you really that picky? LOL. 99 cents and my bike was ship-shape. It didn't sweat and it worked all day yesterday with no problems.

Giving to other riders? Ha! $1 per inch should be about right. :)
