My super tenere is throwing a code 19 some times which is sidestand circuit and also says to check the main switch. The wiring diagram shows 3 wires off the main switch and theres at least 6 maybe 7. Im thinking one of them may be able to throw a code 19 it probably goes back to the ecu. Any other reason the service manual would send me down this route? Cycleing the key gets the code to dissappear. If anyone could walk me threw rhe wiring even if its a r6 would be great should be close enough to give me a idea.
On my 12 year old GSXR there is a multi function relay block in the tail section that handles the logic for the "safety systems" on the bike. It process information from the side stand, clutch switch, ignition, on/off switch, and maybe the tip-over sensor. It went bad on my bike and was causing issues....maybe the Tenere has a similar system?
