It is BadExpensive....depends on how much you want it to hold but around $600-$750, you supply a good tank and the female break, I build it and supply the ring..
And for those who just said to them selves Fk thats alot of $$, it usually takes 12-14 hrs to cut one apart and make all the parts, then tig weld it and pressure check it, and it is really nice when it is done, not a cobbled up bondo monster.

So this tank you can make, is it going to remove the front airbox cover?

Would there be any weight drop?

can you do one in aluminum?

Any pics of previously done tank?

Have $$$$ and would be interested in something like this.

yeah one more thing, can you make a replacement BILLET top triple clamp
for the same bike? 2005 ZX6R

Attack makes the top triple clamp,

Yep I can make a full tank out of aluminum, one off tank would be 4x the above quoted price, You will save 1/2 the weight of the tank.

For previous steel tanks got to any endurance race and look around, I have done several for different people.

Yes I can delete the airbox cover, (with your bike here in the shop, for fitting)

How much for a "cobbled up bondo monster" that holds fuel?

Britt made a tank for my SV650 a couple of years ago and the thing was a piece of art. I hated to paint it, I just wanted to clear coat it. You won't find better work. Lance

How big do people typically make the 600 endurance tanks? How many gallons?

    Thx

    depends on riders, I have done 6, 7, 7 1/2, and in a few cases 8.

The norm seems to be going to 6 1/2-7 this season.
