Looks like on Chaz Davies second lap, smoke coming out of the exhaust. Maybe an engine issue. I don't think he got back out in FP1. Hence the bad lap time. Still watching FP1.
I was just putting this together and trying to figure out why I kept getting the stupid huge track map.
Interesting that Sofa Glue is back in 6th, almost a full second off P1. Although I know, it's only first practice.
Safe to assume that you pulled these results from Superbike Planet? Who has the videopass? How is the live streaming of free practice going? I might have to reinvest into the WSBK pass now that they're doing live practice sessions...
Rain shower for SS FP2. Not wet / not dry. Only one person out. Might get enough rain for folks to really do full wets.
Isn't this his first race back after injury? http://www.worldsbk.com/en/news/2017/Kenan+Sofuoglu+out+of+opening+two+rounds+due+to+injury
Is there commentary? I just saw a quick clip on WorldSBK's facebook page and there wasn't any. Was that just that clip or are we just hearing the bikes going around the track on the entire live feed?
....also it looks like Chaz popped a motor just a few minutes into FP1, so that probably has something to do with his placement. He usually murders everyone at Aragon.
There was sound and commentary for the wet WSS FP2. Looks like live timing only for the WSSP300 class. I hope they do show those races on the stream. That class at Aragon should be a huge drafting battle.
I looked through PJs FP1 times. He was fastest, but ripped off one flyer. I was really hoping to see several consistent laps. Maybe tomorrow.
