His bike seems pretty fast, only 3kph slower than the session leader. I know there is a lot more to a fast lap than top speed though. I'm surprised to see him that far back regardless. Hopefully he finds some more pace over the weekend.
Just to point something out about Martin Cardenas.... The lead pace in FP1 and FP2 was identical at 1:41.7 in both sessions. Martin shaved nearly a full second off in FP2. I think we'll be pleasantly surprised this weekend.
im pumped for him to have a chance to ride there, and keeping my fingers crossed for a solid finish. im also stoked i actually get to watch the race on TV. top 15 from FP2 in the SBK class 1 Davide Giugliano Ducati Superbike Team Ducati Panigale 1199R 1:37.866 2 Eugene Laverty Voltcom Crescent Suzuki Suzuki GSX-R1000 1:38.138 3 Sylvain Guintoli Factory Aprilia Racing Team Aprilia RSV4 1000 1:38.152 4 Jonathan Rea Pata Honda World Superbike Team Honda CBR1000RR 1:38.157 5 Marco Melandri Factory Aprilia Racing Team Aprilia RSV4 1000 1:38.451 6 Tom Sykes Kawasaki Racing Team Kawasaki ZX-10R 1:38.518 7 Loris Baz Kawasaki Racing Team Kawasaki ZX-10R 1:38.647 8 Chaz Davies Ducati Superbike Team Ducati Panigale 1199R 1:38.747 9 Tom Lowes Voltcom Crescent Suzuki Suzuki GSX-R1000 1:38.888 10 Leon Haslam Pata Honda World Superbike Team Honda CBR1000RR 1:39.040 11 X. your cable provider needs to have beIn sports as an option. i have Cox here in san diego. beIn is 1148 in HD. 5 hours of coverage, commercials are only between races. i pay an extra 9.99 per month for the sports package that comes with beIn, and to me, its totally worth it. you get qualifying on saturday, SBK race 1 on sunday, WSS, sometimes WSTK, then SBK Race 2 all in HD. being able to pause it to piss and reload my beer is worth that no problem.
What a shameful display today. I'm sorry but if you can't win on your own, you don't deserve the championship. Is it just me?
I don't know how I feel about it right now. I don't like Melandri and if he costs Aprilia the championship I doubt Aprilia will either.
Holy Superstock championship finish Batman!!! :wow::wow: Savadori lost a judo fight with his bike on the final lap. I've had that same highside. Very unpleasant.
I'm guessing he must have been unhappy with whatever discussion they had after the first race and decided he wasn't doing it again.
