I would much rather see the others have to play catch up. make the others work for it. I’m not even a Ducati fan. I can’t afford to be. Lol I love my Yamahas

Ian Hutchinson has been doing that for a few years now.

We'll have a better guess after they do a few European rounds....

Rea's gotta be feeling very much the way Sykes felt after Rea jumped onto the Kawi and proceeded to murder everyone like nothing.

Some of us rode right-foot-shifting bikes in our early years (mine was a '72 Husky 250 CR).

At least Skyes has not returned the favour since jumping on the BMW

Here's a pic of the set-up. Pretty slick.

I believe that the Yamaha 500 GP (maybe Suzuki?) bike in the 70's had shift shafts on both sides as the riders in that era rode bikes that had shifters on either side. Of course they also had 16 speed gearboxes and 250 RPM powerbands (out of 15,000 RPM). Different breed.

I doubt that. Sykes was getting murdered on the same like he had. That has to make a huge difference to one's mindset.

Exactly, now Davies might feel the same way as Sykes or probably worse.

In Rea's defense, he has only lost to an ex-MotoGP rider less than 6 months out of the top class :D

On clearly a much faster bike. ;)

But lets not get the facts get in the way of a good racing banter.

The Rea haters have come out of the woodwork something ridiculous.

So the factory Hondas finish last? They dump their outside team at the last moment too late for them to recover, bankrupt them, dump their American rider, and take it all in-house, and if anything they get worse results.

I’m not so excited about Ducati’s superiority, they just built a better faster bike. Honda seems to have done the opposite, and achieved the opposite.

This is reminiscent of when Troy Bayliss won the championship in 2002. Oh, wait, no: there were two halves in the championship. :D
