I love the corner names at this place. I can't wait to see more 300SS racing as I am betting the punting at the last chicane at this track will be epic. Go PJ, Nicky and Chaz!
i always love the Assen races. hopefully Chaz can get a couple wins here, just for the sake of keeping the title chase competitive. PJ with a win would also make my weekend, and some improvement from the Honda team would be icing on the cake.
Nicky's time in FP2 was signifantly slower than his time in FP1 (~1.5 secs). Makes me think he might have had some technical issues during this session? I don't have the pass so I wasn't able to watch, but he was one of the few riders that didn't improve on his time so to drop back by that far makes me think something else was up.
Davies and Rea had a pretty heated discussion in Parc Ferme after SP2 after Rea balked him on his last flying lap. Race One should be good. -jim
