Why the XR100 is > The Grom

I'm fixing to build a Baja Designs kitted up 2002 XR100L. Very complete kit. I'll be even with the money I have in GROM, but it'll be a whole different street experience. Both are wonderful little money pits.

 

I think your confused. They are popping up because they are cheap and nobody takes it serious, in other words its fun.

Until there is a kit for the XR100, only the Grom is able to do mini-sidecar-GP. The end.

F those XR100's. The only ones we see around here are being wheelied down I-95 on MLK day.
Plus I got a cupholder on my Grom now. So I can hook up my trailer full of tires and take my coffee with me.
And F crossfit, too.

Agreed that’s the biggest factor why I got a Z125. It can do everything.

Pit bike (Electric start for pit bike duty a HUGE plus and I tow a trailer with mine for tires etc)
Two up capable
Errand bike around town.
It’s nice to be able to run out at the track if you need something and not take a truck.

Def not as fast as the xr100 but to me mini’s is purely about “messing around” having fun so it’s perfect for what I want it for.
