    At my first job in the US 25 years ago I tried to find a company to flock some aluminum vanes on an air conditioner
    That became a wholly different experience than I had thought it would be

    Those aren't Europeans that say "aluminium", those are British people. However, they ARE currently having a little bit a a dispute about whether they are European.
